Election will be held at 6pm, Thursday, June 29th in Meeting Room B at the Middendorf-Kredell Library on Hwy K.

There are three candidates running for our HOA trustee board. They are:

  • Dave Thiemann – 1 year term
    • I have lived in the subdivision for 8 years. My wife, Deborah works for Nestle and I work in a call center.
  • Ted Pruitt – 2 year term
    • “I have lived in Walnut Creek for 12 years. I have experience as a subdivision trustee from a prior residence where I served for one year. I will pledge fiscal responsibility for the subdivision and transparency in everything the board discusses. I feel strongly that all residents of Walnut Creek should be kept informed of any decisions that may be made that might impact them. I also feel that all residents should be able to see exactly how and when the board is spending the money. I will always listen to all points of view before making any decision that might impact my neighbors. As a trustee, it would not be my position to mediate any dispute of any kind between neighbors. There are county agencies for almost all disputes between neighbors that we also pay for via taxes, and those people are trained on how to handle those situations, where the trustees are not. I also pledge to my neighbors that I will always be fair, honest, and transparent. Thank you.”
  • Kurt M. Goodwin – 3 year term
    • “I moved into the neighborhood in August of 2002. I’m 47 years old and have two daughters and two grandchildren. I’ve been an electrician for almost 28 years. I hope that I will be able to benefit the neighborhood and keep the level of standards up.”

If you will be unable to attend the meeting, your proxy allows your vote to be counted. Please send a proxy if at all possible. There are no restrictions on who your proxy holder can be.

A proxy is a written statement by a homeowner authorizing the proxy holder to vote his or her interests at a meeting. In this proxy, the proxy form gives the proxy holder instructions as to how the owner wishes to vote for trustee board member positions.

You are not required to vote for the three candidates that have submitted their names – you may write in a candidate if you wish.

There is one vote counted per lot (i.e. a married couple only has one vote between them and would not need a proxy if one of them can attend in person).

*If you do not have a proxy holder who can attend the meeting, I am willing to be your proxy holder and vote according to your wishes. You may bring your completed proxy form ahead of time to: Jennifer Bahr, 105 Walnut Hill Drive, Saint Charles, MO 63304 or you may scan and email a copy to kurtjenbahr@gmail.com.
